You will skillfully oversee the overall operation to achieve planned goals for operational integrity as measured by revenue and house profit while maintaining company standards for quality assurance, asset protection, associate satisfaction and exceeding guest expectations.

 

Director of Operations are direct reports to the Vice President of Joe’s Auto Parks/Metro Auto Parks. This position will work closely in supporting both managers in a leadership and administrative role.  You will work closely with supervisory staff in directing and motivating the actions of frontline employees to ensure the most productive work environment.

Qualifications

  • Four year University/College degree.
  • Able calculate and perform management-level revenue accounting and cash accounting. 
  • Must possess excellent communication, customer relations, business a skills.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience as a General Manager with at least 5-8 years in the urban parking.
 
 
Physical Demands
Should be able to perform all physical tasks required of front line staff members.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure quality service for vendors, customers by maintaining ease of operation and expeditious exit.  Interact and communicate with customers and handle complaints or problems.
  • Coordinate all management, supervisors and front-line employees and to ensure the proper flow of traffic and personnel to maintain exceptional service for customers. 
  • Perform weekly audits to ensure proper service requirements.
  • Assist in maintaining an adequate staff by scheduling, training, and developing subordinate personnel. 
  • Keep watch on state mandated rules and regulations regarding staff
  • Direct employee relations, performance and positive work environment.
  • Cost effective and maintain beneficial operation budgets
  • Apply and implement standards relative to changing organizational and staffing needs.
  • Contribute to the profitability of the Company by closely monitoring costs applicable to operations and employee talent
  • Coach employees for performance improvement and apply progressive disciplinary policy when necessary.
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts.
