We are seeking an initiative driven, motivated, self-starter to join our Finance Team as a Senior Accountant. This position would be based out of our Downtown Los Angeles corporate office.

Location:

  • In Person - 707 Wilshire Blvd., Los Angeles, CA 90017. 

Qualifications

 

  • Minimum 3-4 years of accounting experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and highly organized.
  • Intermediate to Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; Pivot tables, vlookup, table creation, filters.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or related field strongly preferred.
  • Experience with month end and year end close reconciliations, and analysis.
  • Experience with accounting software packages such as Sage 300 and Yardi preferred.
  • Experience with Paris on the Web revenue control software a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly landlord operating statements.
  • Perform bank reconciliations.
  • Account analysis, data entry, reconciliations, and preparation of month end adjusting entries.
  • Audit and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
  • Preparation of year-end workpapers.
  • Preparation of monthly local sales tax, parking tax, and annual business tax returns.
  • Various accounting projects as needed.
