In addition to affordable monthly parking options throughout the downtown area, Joe’s Auto Parks will soon offer a real-time parking reservations system to guarantee pricing and available space.

We are looking to recruit an energetic, detail-oriented parking lot checker to maintain our lot. Lot Checkers are responsible for verifying payments, issuing parking notices, and helping patrons understand the rules of the parking lots for off-street locations.

Qualifications

 

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of experiencing preferred.
  • Able to calculate and perform basic arithmetic functions in the application of revenue accounting and cash accounting.
  • Must have excellent verbal communication skills and basic computer skills.
  • Must be able to work in a team environment.
  • Must have a valid driver's license 

 

Dependent upon location, lot checkers might have to stand or sit for prolonged periods.

Responsibilities

  • Patrolling parking lots to confirm parking compliance.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Content on being outdoors in various climates.
  • Advise supervisor regarding problems, unsafe lot conditions, maintenance deficiencies, signage requirements, etc.
  • Make recommendations regarding adjudication of parking tickets.
  • Be responsible for monitoring, procurement, and installation of all parking/traffic signs.
  • Be responsible for weekly data collection
  • Operate motor vehicles, radio transmitters, receivers, and/or other tools and equipment as required.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
