Joe’s Auto Parks is a privately-owned parking operations and management company with over 90 locations in downtown Los Angeles. Joe’s Auto Parks provides both self and valet parking services at many of its surface lots and garages. In addition to affordable monthly parking options throughout the downtown area, Joe’s Auto Parks will soon offer a real-time parking reservations system to guarantee pricing and available space.

 

The new Long Beach garage located at 211 E. Ocean Blvd. is now operated by Joe’s Auto Parks.

We are looking for an experienced and friendly person with leadership skills. The Parking Attendant Lead provides leadership and guidance to Parking Attendants while carrying out the duties of a Parking Attendant. Ensure that prices and quantities are accurate, accept payments, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers products, promotions, or item location. You will also respond to complaints, process refunds or exchanges of items, and maintain a clean workspace.

Schedule:

  • M - F, 8a - 4pm (full time)

Qualifications

  • HS Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Great interpersonal skills and team work.
  • Ability to calculate and perform basic arithmetic functions.
  • Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Basic knowledge and ability to use Microsoft Word and Excel.
  • Valid Driver's license.
  • Clean Driving record.
  • Must be able to drive both Manual and Automatic vehicles.  

Must be able to lift 50 pounds or heavier, prolonged sitting and frequent standing are a normal part of the job.

Responsibilities

  • Able to manage operations of parking facility

  • Have record keeping and recording skills; Cashier duties and cash handling.

  • Job Tasks must be finished in a timely manner according to department standards

  • Assist in maintaining a congestion-free through traffic control, monitoring illegal parking, and immediately storing vehicles.

  • Oversee and Train team members.

  • Check work schedule to ensure shifts are properly staffed.

  • Cashier duties and cash handling.

  • Exceptional customer service; Handle guest claims in a timely and professional manner.

  • Assist guests in a friendly and professional manner

  • Drive guest’s vehicles to the designated parking space in a safe manner

  • Regular inspection of parking facility and customer vehicles

  • Follow company’s policies and procedures

  • Immediately notify the Manager of any issues, problems, or complaints.
