Overview

Transport people in a bus between locations. Helping passengers with luggage, answering to passenger questions, communicating with the dispatcher, solving minor faults, and obeying traffic rules. Main job requirements are safe driving skills, attention to details, customer service, multitasking, being able to keep composure in unexpected situations, and flexibility.

Pay rate is $18.50/hr

 

Qualifications

 

  • Must possess a class B license. 
  • A clean and safe driving record. 
  • 1 year or more experience in driving a Shuttle.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills. 
  • Able to work in a team environment.
  • Must be flexible to work various shifts. 

 

Drivers work in a physically demanding environment. Able to lift 50 pounds or heavier, prolonged sitting and frequent standing are a normal part of the job.

Responsibilities

 

  • Have first rate etiquette and professionalism qualities.
  • Greet and be available to customer for customer service related issues.
  • Must be able to answer inquiries about all rates, services and promotions. 
  • Assist in the loading and unloading of customer luggage.
  • Implementation and recognition of defensive/safe driving techniques.
  • Communicate effectively with other drivers and dispatchers to ensure effective fleet ops.
  • Accurately complete reports and forms related to shuttle operations.
  • Compliance with company rules, policies and standard operating procedures.
